NEWSMAKERS: Catherine Zeta-Jones Motors On

Today on “Fun with Celebrity Motorists”: Catherine Zeta-Jones is being sued by a woman who says she was a passenger in the actress’s car when said actress crashed said car near Pacific Palisades, Calif., in August. The said passenger — one Petra Von Oelffen — suffered unspecified injuries and is seeking unspecified damages in the lawsuit filed Monday in court here.

The Zeta-Jones incident is not to be confused with the Halle Berry incident. (Or incidents?)

The latest word on the Berry case is that “The Flintstones” star — under investigation for a suspected hit-and-run accident in West Hollywood, Calif., last month — is also under investigation for other hit-and-run crashes in Chicago and Cleveland.

WELL, AT LEAST HE’S NOT DRIVING: In Newport Beach, Calif., police have been called out to Dennis Rodman’s house 28 times this year — a local record, today’s Orange County Register reports. Nearly all the black-and-white visits have been prompted by complaints about loud parties. Police are pressuring prosecutors to press charges against the sometime actor for violating the city’s noise ordinance.

DIVA LITE: Grammy winner Christina Aguilera (“Genie in a Bottle”) has been tapped to join the all-male ranks of “Men Strike Back,” the latest incarnation of VH1’s diva concert series, to be held April 11 at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The other scheduled performers are the Backstreet Boys, Tom Jones, Enrique Iglesias, Sting and D’Angelo.
