Nicholas Hoult & Hugh Grant became car hunting buddies on About a Boy set

Now grown up, Hoult admits he has many fond memories of working with Grant, who bought him a golf club set as a wrap present.

He says, “He was great… He was trying to find a new car at the time so I would go in with car magazines and be like, ‘Wow, this guy’s got money to buy cars, I’m gonna find him a cool car.'”

Hoult admits he did help Grant pick out the perfect motor, adding, “It was an Aston Martin.”

The pair has kept in touch over the years and the Clash of the Titans star admits Grant left a lasting impact on him: “I haven’t spoken to him for a little while, but he’s definitely a great role model.”
