Nicole Kidman can only cook a grilled cheese sandwich

Nicole Kidman has admitted she is no great shakes in the kitchen and can only stretch to making a cheesy sandwich.
The Aquaman star has risen to the top of the acting profession, winning five Golden Globe Awards, two Emmys, a BAFTA, and she was the first Australian actress to win the Academy Award for Best Actress.
However, she confessed she’s no winner in the culinary stakes, admitting in an interview with Australian breakfast radio show Jonesy & Amanda on Friday (22Mar19) that she has never learned how to cook.
She was asked by radio host Amanda Keller if she likes to cook as a way to “switch off” at the end of a long working day on a film set, with Nicole sheepishly sharing that she cannot rustle up more than a sandwich.
“I don’t cook, I hate to say it,” Nicole said. “I do a grilled cheese (sandwich) but that’s about it. I wish I could say I was a brilliant cook!”
The mother of four, she shares two daughters with husband and country music star Keith Urban, Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, eight, and she has two adult children, Connor and Isabella, whom she adopted while married to ex-husband Tom Cruise, has previously shared that her children can bake a better cake than she can, and that she sidestepped making Keith a cake for his 51st birthday.
“I did not bake. I’m a terrible cook… I don’t have the skill… but I love to be cooked for. My daughter (Sunday) can actually cook a better cake than I can,” she confessed in a chat with Extra in October, adding that both her daughters have impressive baking skills. “Actually, the 7-year-old (Faith) is pretty good, too.”
