Nicole Kidman to appear in four Cannes Film Festival titles

Nicole Kidman stars in four titles screening at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival in May (17).

The Australian actress will be making multiple appearances at the 70th edition of the French film event in May (17) in support of three movies and her TV show Top of the Lake.

She has two films in the main competition – The Beguiled by Sofia Coppola, which also stars Colin Farrell, Kirsten Dunst and Elle Fanning, and Yorgos Lanthimos’ The Killing of a Sacred Deer, which again co-stars Colin.

She will also be seen in John Cameron Mitchell’s upcoming sci-fi comedy How to Talk to Girls at Parties, which will premiere out of competition, and in episodes from season two of Top of the Lake, which will be screened as a special event.

 

In addition to Top of the Lake, two episodes of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks revival will be screened as a special event ahead of its premiere on Showtime later in May (17).

The Cannes Film Festival runs from 17 to 28 May (17). Spanish director Pedro Almodovar will serve as jury president.
