Singer Nicole Scherzinger is reportedly in talks to star in a revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musical Cats in London’s West End. The former Pussycat Dolls star is in “very early discussions” to take on the role of glamorous feline Grizabella, according to the U.K.’s Daily Mail.
Scherzinger, who recently served as a judge on The X Factor in the U.K., already has ties to Lloyd Webber – she performed at the 25th anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera in 2011, singing the title song alongside four former Phantoms, including Simon Bowman and Earl Carpenter.
Cats is slated to return to the West End stage later this year (14) after closing in 2002.
