Nicollette Sheridan loses another fight in Desperate Housewives battle

The actress’ wrongful termination case against ABC bosses ended in a mistrial earlier this year (12) in Los Angeles Superior Court, and, in August (12), California’s second appellate district court officials ruled that she was not unlawfully terminated when her character Edie Britt was killed off at the end of season five of the hit drama.

Sheridan maintained she was fired for complaining about a backstage altercation with Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry, during which he allegedly struck her.

Her claim was disallowed but she was instructed to refile her case and allege a violation of the California Labor Code.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, her legal team asked for a rehearing but that request was denied last week (07Sep12).
