John Cena’s former fiancee Nikki Bella is looking to put some distance between the exes by moving out of his California home.
The couple ended its engagement and split in April (18), but the wrestling stars are currently said to be working on rebuilding their relationship.
Nikki has continued to live at John’s house in San Diego’s La Jolla neighbourhood despite their love troubles, as the Trainwreck actor has been busy travelling for work, but now she has decided it’s time to get a place of her own.
According to TMZ.com, Nikki has been looking at properties to purchase as a first-time buyer, but she won’t be moving far, as her twin sister Brie also lives in the area with her husband, Daniel Bryan, and their one-year-old daughter, Birdie.
Sources tell the outlet the Total Bellas star wants her own space so she can regain her independence as she continues to “figure herself out”.
The news comes days before the season finale of Nikki and Brie’s reality show, Total Bellas, airs on Sunday (29Jul18), when fans will get to see behind-the-scenes footage of the romance drama for themselves.
In a preview of the explosive episode, Nikki officially calls off the May (18) wedding, telling her mother and sister, “There’s something that is making me not feel like I can walk down the aisle right now. And that doesn’t mean ever with him – I just can’t do it right now.
“The tables have kind of turned. John is all in, will do anything to work on us… and for some reason right now, I need to work on me. We naturally just give and sacrifice and I’ve been doing it for a long time.”
Nikki and Trainwreck actor John began dating in late 2012 and became engaged at the Wrestlemania 33 event in April, 2017.
