Twilight star Nikki Reed is bouncing back from her failed marriage to singer Paul Mcdonald by dating actor Ian Somerhalder, according to multiple reports.
The actress announced her split from former American Idol contestant McDonald in March (14) and filed for divorce in May (14), less than three years after they wed. She was subsequently linked to dancer Derek Hough, but now it appears she has moved on with Somerhalder after spending the weekend with The Vampire Diaries star.
The pair was spotted jogging together on Saturday (19Jul14) and at a farmers’ market in Studio City, California on Sunday (20Jul14), when Somerhalder was snapped hugging Reed and resting his neck on her shoulder.
Ironically, the actors both starred as vampires – Reed played Rosalie Hale in the Twilight film franchise, while Somerhalder portrays Damon Salvatore in hit series The Vampire Diaries. He previously dated his TV co-star Nina Dobrev.
