Funk legend Nile Rodgers continues to win his battle against cancer after getting the all-clear during his latest check-up. The Chic star was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2010, but a year later (11) doctors informed him he had beat the disease.
Rodgers still has sporadic check-ups to ensure it hasn’t returned, and he was ecstatic once again on Monday (29Jul13) when he was told he remains cancer-free.
Taking to his Twitter.com page after his check-up, he uploaded a snap of his physician’s office along with the caption, “Instead of showing gross internal video I’ll show my doctor’s fly examination room. I’M ALL CLEAR AGAIN!”
