Noel Gallagher auctioning off signed gold disc for charity

Former Oasis star Noel Gallagher is set to auction off a signed gold disc certifying the success of his debut solo album for Russell Brand’s charity. The rocker released Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds in 2011 following the break-up of Oasis, and now he is planning to give away his gold record to benefit his comedian pal’s Give It Up fund, which works to raise funds for abstinence-focused treatment for drugs and alcohol.
Gallagher will include a special message to the auction winner on the disc.
The eBay.com sale will close on Sunday (02Mar14).
