Oasis are fan favourites to headline Glastonbury 2015

A reunited Oasis would be the number one draw at next year’s (15) Glastonbury festival, according to a new magazine poll in Britain. Arcade Fire, Metallica and Kasabian headlined this year’s (14) event, which concluded on Sunday night (29Jun14), and music fans and organisers alike are already looking forward to next year’s Somerset, England festival.
And Oasis, who have headlined the weekend event in the past, are at the top of fans’ wish lists for a slot on the bill next summer.
The disbanded group has beaten out David Bowie, Foo Fighters, Muse and Fleetwood Mac among the acts festival fans would most like to see at Glastonbury next year, according to the NME.com poll.
Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis recently revealed that three headliners have already been booked for next year’s festival, and they don’t include Prince, who was rumoured to be a special guest artist this year (14).
Bookmakers at William Hill have named Iron Maiden as front-runners to headline Glastonbury 2015 with odds of 7/1, while reclusive Kate Bush, Oasis, Coldplay and U2 all have good odds.
