Oliver Jackson-Cohen owes career to Drew Barrymore

The actor, who is the son of fashion designer Betty Jackson, struggled to obtain the necessary permit to film 2010 romantic comedy Going The Distance, so his co-star Barrymore stepped in to provide assistance.

He tells Britain’s GQ magazine, “I owe my career to Drew. They kept turning down my visa application so she got her director friends – whom I had never met – to write to the embassy to ask them to pass it. And they did.”
