The sportsman-turned-TV personality went under the knife at a hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday (23Jun10), when a growth was cut out near his pituitary gland.
Doctors first detected the mass in 2004, seven years after Hamilton was treated for testicular cancer.
The 51 year old is expected to return home next week (begs28Jun10) and doctors predict he will make a full recovery.
