Ozzy Osbourne marked Monday’s (August 21, 2017) solar eclipse by performing his hit Bark At The Moon as the sun was blocked out over Illinois.
The heavy rocker played a rare afternoon set at the Moonstock Festival in Carterville and timed his performance perfectly – two minutes into one of his most famous solo tracks, the moon completely blocked out the sun.
The total solar eclipse was over by the time the song ended.
The four-day Moonstock Festival was created to celebrate the eclipse and attendees were given protective glasses, so they could view the supernatural moment.
Meanwhile, Bonnie Tyler performed her hit Total Eclipse of the Heart with DNCE as her backing band out at sea. The Welsh rocker hit the stage of a special cruise ship full of eclipse fans just before the big moment and sang part of her hit as the sky went dark.
