Veteran Mexican singer Paquita la del Barrio is set to be honoured with a lifetime achievement prize at the 2016 Premio Lo Nuestro awards.
The Grammy-nominated Rata de dos patas star, 68, has enjoyed a career spanning five decades and her industry success will be recognised in a special segment at the upcoming ceremony.
She joins fellow honouree Carlos Vives, who will receive the 2016 Premio Lo Nuestro a la Excelencia accolade for his extraordinary contributions to Latin music over the course of his 30 years in the business.
Nominees Gente de Zona, Gerardo Ortiz, Prince Royce, and Thalia will be among those performing at the 18 February (16) prizegiving in Miami, Florida.
