Paris Jackson hospitalised after apparent suicide attempt

Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris is recovering in hospital after an apparent suicide attempt early on Wednesday morning (05Jun13). Reports suggest the teenager was stretchered out of her Calabasas family home at 2am local time and taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Scott Miller of the Los Angeles County Fire Department tells People.com that paramedics responded to a 911 call regarding “a possible overdose”.
The drama came just hours after the teen posted cryptic notes to her Twitter.com feed. One read, “I wonder why tears are salty?”, while another offered up the lyrics to the Beatles’ Yesterday: “yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they’re here to stay.”
Paris has posted several messages on Twitter about her relationships and musings on love and friendship in recent weeks, but she appeared happy when she uploaded a make-up tips video to YouTube.com over the weekend (01-02Jun13).
Asked to comment on her daughter’s state of mind following the early morning medical emergency, mum Debbie Rowe has said she has “a lot going on”.
Paris and her brothers Prince Michael and Blanket and their grandmother Katherine Jackson are currently in the midst of a wrongful death lawsuit with the bosses of AEG Live, accusing them of ignoring Michael Jackson’s health issues prior to his doomed This Is It comeback concerts.
The trial has entered its sixth week.
