Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow shared a touching throwback picture of herself and her late father on what would have been his 44th birthday on Tuesday (12Sep17).
The 18-year-old took to Instagram to post the snap, which showed her as a child dancing with her shirtless father, who died in a car crash in November 2013. In the caption, Meadow encouraged others to use the sad occasion to pay it forward.

“In honor of my dad’s birthday today, we’re challenging you to DO GOOD!” she wrote. “Share a video or photo of your random act of kindness and nominate 4 people to join the challenge! Be sure to tag the foundation as well as hashtag #PWFdogoodchallenge, so we can check out all of your posts!”
She then nominated Paul’s Fast & Furious co-star Vin Diesel and models Marisa Miller, Meghan Roche and Chase Kessler.
Vin has yet to respond to the challenge, but did take to social media to post his own tribute to Paul.

Sharing a snap of Paul, he wrote: “Happy birthday Pablo… You have and are still changing the world. Your love lives through all whom have had the great fortune to know you. Meadow graduated this summer… made us all so proud. She is even building a foundation in your name to help the world… All the angels miss you… I miss you.”
Vin wasn’t the only of Paul’s former co-stars to remember the actor. Freddie Prinze, Jr., who starred with Paul in 1999 romcom She’s All That, became choked up when asked about the late actor during an interview with Us Weekly.
“When Paul came into audition, I didn’t have cast approval, but I had what they called consultation. I knew Paul was the right guy, and when he finished the audition, I asked if I could excuse myself to go to the bathroom,” Freddie recalled. “I ran outside where his car was parked. I said, ‘Hey man, you’re gonna get this job.’ They didn’t pay us anything. It was a small movie. (I said), ‘They’re gonna offer you $25,000, they have $75 in the budget. Don’t say no.’
“I heard, years later, after he passed away, that he had told his brother and his mom that story. To hear that, that meant a lot to him to share that. I loved that there was still that connection there. As an actor, you don’t want guys to suffer if they don’t have to. Right? You’re like, ‘Dude – you got the part!’ He was a good dude.”
