Pauly D: ‘I’m excited to meet daughter for the first time and ready to be a dad’

Reality TV star-turned-DJ Paul ‘Pauly D’ Delvecchio can’t wait to meet his baby daughter Amabella for the first time, revealing even a custody battle with her mother can’t dampen his excitement. The former Jersey Shore star recently learned he’s the father of the five month old, and now he’s fighting her mother, waitress Amanda Markert, for full custody of the tot.
Speaking for the first time since discovering he’s a dad, DelVecchio tells In Touch magazine, “My number one focus is my daughter. Everything in my life will now revolve around her and what’s best for her.
“I cannot wait to meet her. I’ve never been so excited in my entire life. I’m proud to be a father, and I’m ready for it.”
The in-demand DJ met the baby’s mother while performing at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino’s Rehab party in Las Vegas. Markert kept the birth a secret until recently serving her one-time lover with paternity papers.
