Peaches Geldof’s death to remain a mystery for weeks

The cause of British socialite Peaches Geldof’s death will remain a mystery for several weeks after initial tests proved inconclusive. Bob Geldof’s daughter, 25, was found dead at her home in Kent, England on Monday (07Apr14) and cops later stated they are treating her death as “sudden and unexplained” but not suspicious.
Officials carried out a post mortem examination on the body in a bid to discover more about the tragedy, but on Wednesday (09Apr14), they announced the procedure had been “inconclusive”.
Toxicology tests will now be carried out, but the results could take several weeks, and a decision will then be taken as to whether the circumstances of Geldof’s death should be detailed at a public inquest hearing.
A coroner’s spokesman says, “A decision on whether there needs to be an inquest depends upon the final results of the post mortem.”
