Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has broken her silence about her summer engagement to One Direction hunk Zayn Malik, revealing she’s still on “cloud nine” after her fiance’s romantic proposal. The 20 year old hasn’t spoken about her wedding plans or revealed details of how Malik asked her to be his wife back in August (13), but now she has told Britain’s Bliss magazine that she’s still overjoyed.
She says, “We’re just so happy right now. I’m on cloud nine and so is he.”
The singer surprised her bandmates with the wedding news the morning after Malik popped the question.
Jade Thirlwall tells the publication, “She got proposed to on Sunday, we were back at work on Monday and it was the first thing she said!”
