Peter Andre’s panic over fiancee’s car journey labour

Australian singer Peter Andre feared his fiancee was set to give birth in their car after she went into labour midway through a lengthy journey. The Mysterious Girl hitmaker became a father for a third time when partner Emily MacDonagh welcomed a daughter, Amelia, but he reveals the baby could have been born on a roadside after MacDonagh began suffering contractions on a four-hour drive to her family’s home in Somerset, England.
Andre tells U.K. TV show Daybreak, “It was just an incredible experience, the birth of any child for any parent is incredible and this was something that I’ll never forget.
“We drove from home to Taunton (in south England) which was a three-and-a-half to four-hour drive and before we left the house she wasn’t in labour, halfway to (Taunton) she was in labour.
“By the time we got halfway, the contractions started, then I thought she’s going to give birth in the car and then I started panicking. Then there was traffic!”
The tot was eventually born in Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton on 7 January (14).
