Peter Gabriel’s Croatia concert cancelled

Peter Gabriel’s upcoming concert in Zagreb, Croatia has been cancelled after the promoters went bust. The former Genesis star was due to perform in the city on 5 October (13), but the gig has now been scrapped after the local company charged with handling the event, Adria Entertainment, went out of business.
Gabriel has now scheduled a concert in Belgrade, Serbia on the same night and offered fans a “gift” if they keep hold of their tickets and make the 246-mile (396-kilometre) journey.
A statement posted on Gabriel’s website reads, “We have just been informed that the promoter for our Zagreb concert has gone out of business. The closest city that our promoters Live Nation have been able to find for an alternative concert that night is Belgrade. We have been promised by Live Nation that the tickets from Zagreb will be honoured at Kombank Arena in Belgrade. We are very sorry for all the inconvenience to our disappointed fans, but this situation was completely out of our control.
“Anyone who had already bought a ticket for this show and travels to Belgrade, will receive a small gift for making the journey. Those that choose not to use their tickets will be offered a recording of the show instead.
“Our sincere apologies to all those affected and we look forward to seeing many of you in Belgrade.”
