Cox’s relationship with husband David Arquette was put under the spotlight earlier this month (Jun10) after a photograph of the former Friends actress spending time with her TV co-star led to speculation about an affair.
Arquette subsequently brushed aside the false rumours, insisting the couple’s marriage is “really great”, and Philipps has now spoken out, insisting she never believed the reports and the gossip left her feeling angry.
She tells Britain’s OK! magazine, “I think people realised pretty quickly there was nothing behind that picture. I mean, we all hang out together all the time… I’ve hung out with Brian – does that mean we’re f**king? No! Courteney and David aren’t going anywhere!
“I was mad, though. I’m on Twitter and I really wanted to write something about it, but my husband was like, ‘Don’t because it will get reported.'”
