Pierce Brosnan has been handed an early Christmas gift – a fire lawsuit hanging over him has been dismissed.
More than 50 firefighters were called to the former James Bond star’s Malibu mansion in 2015 to tackle the blaze and last month (Nov17), his neighbour Alexander Haagen filed legal papers, accusing the actor of failing to dispose of rags that were at risk of spontaneous combustion.
According to TMZ, Haagen received a payout for the damage from his insurance company, Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co., and then bosses sued Brosnan.
Now, just 14 days later the lawsuit has been dismissed and the suit can’t be refiled.
