Pink Floyd considering Spotify deal

The existing members of Pink Floyd have agreed to post their back catalogue on popular streaming service Spotify when a million music fans have checked out their 1975 classic track Wish You Were Here on the website. The rock supergroup was excluded from a deal record label executives at EMI signed with Spotify bosses in 2011, but it appears bandmates David Gilmour, Roger Waters and Nick Mason are interested in being part of a new agreement, as long as fans keep streaming the one track that is available to them.
The news comes three years after the band sued EMI for allowing single-song downloads on iTunes.
