Pregnant Pink’s husband ‘nervous’ as he hopes for a baby boy

Pink’s husband Carey Hart is “nervous” about the impending birth of their second child because they are keeping the baby’s sex a secret until the tot’s arrival.
The pop star announced her pregnancy in a touching Instagram post last month (Nov16), when she revealed she was already several months along as she showed off her bulging baby belly.
The couple has chosen not to find out the child’s sex ahead of time, just like they did with their now-five-year-old daughter Willow, and while Carey’s excited at the prospect of expanding his family, the retired motocross racer admits the wait is making him anxious, because he would love a baby boy.
“We got one princess, so hopefully we’ll have a little guy coming,” the 41-year-old told People.com. “I don’t want any competition for my daughter.”
“I’m nervous for what it’s going to be,” he continued, before adding, “It’s been a while since we’ve had a baby around the house. It’s going to be really fun.”
And while Carey is hoping the unborn child will be a boy, his daughter Willow is praying for another girl.
“She’s been talking about how she wants a baby sister,” Carey shared, revealing the tot has already shown her loving spirit. “She built a bicycle for him or her. So we’re going to finish it up after number two shows up.”
The proud dad, who documented Willow’s sweet gesture with a post on Instagram last week (ends02Dec16), explained, “She tore the bike all apart and after number two shows up, she’s going to decide the colours that she wants to do for it. I told her, ‘Look, he or she is not going to be able to use it for a while – but they’ll be ready for it.'”
Carey believes Willow will adapt well to being a big sister: “Right now, she’s very excited, until they start taking her toys and breaking her stuff, and then we’ll see how it goes,” he smiled.
Pink and Carey will celebrate their 11th wedding anniversary in January (17), but the stars’ relationship hasn’t been without problems in the past. The couple briefly separated in 2008, before rekindling its romance and welcoming Willow in 2011.
