Princess Diana biographer Andrew Morton writing book about Meghan Markle

Princess Diana’s biographer Andrew Morton is turning his attention to Meghan Markle.
Just weeks after the actress became the fiancee of Diana’s youngest son, Prince Harry, Morton has revealed he’s planning a book about her life.
Announcing the news via Twitter on Tuesday (12Dec17), he writes: “Excited to be writing #MeghanMarkle’s story. She has bags of charisma. A royal star who will have tremendous impact on royal family and wider world.”
Morton claims his new biography will take “a comprehensive, unparalleled look at her life prior to the royal engagement”, adding he has been a fan of the Suits star for years.
“Confident, groomed, and camera-ready, she is a dramatic contrast to the blushing, coy royal brides of recent history,” he adds. “The warmth and affection Meghan and Harry displayed during their engagement interview is light years away from the stilted ‘whatever love means’ conversation with Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981.”
Morton is the man behind Diana: Her True Story, the bestseller featuring the secret interviews the late royal gave him at Kensington Palace in London, openly discussing her battle with bulimia, and her suicide attempts.
It is not clear if actress Markle will sit down for interviews with Morton for Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, which will be published at the end of April (18), a month before the royal wedding.
