Producer Garth Ancier sues sex abuse accuser

Hollywood producer Garth Ancier is suing the man who accused him of sexual assault. The entertainment mogul, who worked on TV shows such as 21 Jump Street and The Simpsons, has filed a lawsuit accusing Michael Egan of malicious prosecution, according to TMZ.com.
The new legal wrangling comes just days after Egan dropped a lawsuit against Ancier, who was accused, alongside three other men, of sexually abusing him as a teenager in Hawaii in 1999.
Ancier, who vehemently denied the allegations, is now fighting back by turning the legal battle on his accuser and suing him over the initial lawsuit, alleging it damaged his reputation.
X-Men director Bryan Singer and Broadway producer Gary Goddard, both of whom are also facing lawsuits from Egan, filed motions requesting dismissal in May (14).
