NYPD Blue creator Steven Bochco, to TV Guide Online, about why ABC made the wrong decision in moving the cop show next season from Tuesdays to Wednesdays against NBC’s Law & Order:
“I understand their reasoning, [but] I don’t agree with them. I think that Law & Order is a geniune hit show, with a geninue hit show lead-in [The West Wing], and to assume that [NYPD Blue is going to do as well or if not better on Wednesday at 10 as we need on Tuesday at 10 I just think is faulty reasoning.”
