Ramsay ‘not responsible’ for scandal-hit restaurant

Commis chef Janet Kim lodged a complaint with the State Division of Human Rights earlier this month (Apr11) alleging she was targeted while working at Ramsay’s eaterie at The London NYC hotel in Manhattan.

As the proprietor of the restaurant, Ramsay is named in the papers – but his representative has moved swiftly to distance the TV chef from the scandal.

A spokeswoman for the star tells the New York Post, “Neither Gordon Ramsay or (sic) GRH (Gordon Ramsay Holdings) have any responsibility for the operation of the restaurant, including anything to do with human resources, which is entirely the responsibility of the owners.”
