Rapper Denzel Curry performs London festival set in wheelchair

Rising rapper Denzel Curry was forced to perform at London’s Wireless Festival in a wheelchair after injuring his leg during a show in Dublin, Ireland.
The Ultimate star hurt himself after jumping into the crowd at Dublin’s Longitude Festival on Saturday (06Jul19), but he refused to let the incident derail his live plans, and instead chose to rely on a wheelchair as he travelled to the U.K. for Sunday’s set at Wireless.
“Stuck in a wheel chair from going to (sic) crazy last night in Dublin,” he told fans on Twitter early on Sunday, after a photo of Denzel in his new ride popped up on social media.
However, he vowed to press on with his concert commitments, and added, “1 leg aint gon stop s**t @WirelessFest meet me at Pepsi Max stage today at 17:25pm (sic)!!!!!”
The gig went ahead as planned, with Denzel doing his best to entertain the audience while using the wheelchair onstage.
He later shared footage of the energetic performance on Twitter and quipped, “Wheelchair don’t Care (sic)”.
Denzel is expected to continue with his scheduled tour dates, which resume in Los Angeles on Tuesday (09Jul19), when he opens for pop star Billie Eilish.
