Rapper Tony Yayo retiring from music

50 Cent’s longtime sidekick Tony Yayo is has announced his retirement from music. The hip-hop hitmaker took to Instagram.com recently to reveal he is no longer with 50 Cent’s G-Unit group and he is quitting music all together, according to AllHipHop.com.
Responding to a fan’s comments, he writes, “I’m done with the music and the industry this is to (sic) much for me.”
He adds, “to (sic) much stress i flew the world already dropped an album time to try new things and the (G-) unit not together.”
The In da Club hitmaker formed the rap supergroup in 2003 with Yayo and rapper Lloyd Banks.
On Thursday (20Feb14), he announced he was leaving his longtime record label Interscope/Shady/Aftermath to sign with independent label Caroline Records.
