Rappers Lil B and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie make peace

Rappers Lil B and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie have put an end to their feud after a weekend (21-22Oct17) altercation at California’s Rolling Loud Festival.
Lil B, also known as The BasedGod, cancelled his scheduled set at the Mountain View event on Saturday (21Oct17) after he was reportedly beaten up by his hip-hop rival and members of his entourage shortly before his show time.
While he didn’t perform, he did briefly take to the stage at the festival to call out A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and his crew, and blame them for stealing his equipment, sabotaging his set.
“A Boogie and his whole crew just jumped me in the back and beat me up… That s**t crazy, man,” Lil B told the crowd, revealing a criticism he had made of the rap newcomer’s music had sparked the altercation.
However, the 28-year-old insisted he wasn’t seeking retaliation against A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, declaring, “It’s all love. I don’t promote violence. I’m never with the violence. So I love them and it’s all good (sic).”
Now it seems Lil B and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie have hashed out their differences in a phone call set up by local Thizz Entertainment boss Kilo Curt.
On Monday (23Oct17), Lil B, real name Brandon McCartney, took to Twitter and posted, “shouts out to a boogie kilo Kurt… Thizz entertainment don of Bay Area put us on phone together east coast west we united (sic)”.
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, who hails from New York City, reposted the California artist’s tweet and added, “s.o (shout out) the west coast for the communication. Not too many people got it in them to forgive that easy, as a man I gotta respect that (sic)”.
