Rebel Wilson hits back at Photoshop claims

Rebel Wilson is hitting back at suggestions she was Photoshopped on the cover of Vogue Australia.

The Pitch Perfect star debuted her magazine photoshoot on Instagram on Tuesday (22May18) and revealed she still can’t believe she’s a cover girl for the fashion bible.

“I never would’ve thought this element would be added to my life: Vogue Covergirl,” she wrote on the social media site. “This was such an amazing experience, thank you Vogue Australia and to all the designers and stylists who worked on this shoot…!”

Many fans praised Wilson, calling her cover shot “beautiful, amazing, and classy”, but others criticised Vogue bosses for allegedly altering the image to make her look “different” and “slimmed down”.
“This just looks like a completely different woman,” one person wrote.

“They altered the photo,” another added. “Look at her face and hands. Slimmed down. Why can’t they just show her in her natural beauty.”

Rebel is now hitting back at the critics, insisting her slimmer physique is the result of a better diet and working out, not photo magic.

“Nope, not slimmed down!,” she wrote on Twitter. “I just ate healthy and exercised for the month before the shoot x but then immediately after ate brownies!”

She then posted an unedited picture from the shoot next to a finshed photo to show the similarities.

“Oh and just so you can see the raw v’s the magazine shot, I took a monitor photo myself on the day of the shoot!,” she added. “So please don’t carry on that these shots are heavily photoshopped because they’re not!”
