Rev Run heading back to reality TV

Hip-hop legend Joseph ‘Rev Run’ Simmons is heading back to reality TV with a show focused on his family’s cooking skills. The Walk This Way hitmaker came up with the idea for Rev Run’s Sunday Suppers in a bid to spend more time with his family after his four older children moved out of his home.
He tells the New York Daily News, “I was moping around the house hoping to pull people in to cook us some meals.
“It’s about bringing the family back together to eat. No one’s here anymore. My hopes were to kill two birds with one stone: be back on television and get to see my family.”
This isn’t the first reality show run for the Simmons family – Run’s House aired on MTV from 2005 and 2009.
In January (14), they also appeared in a series on America’s DIY network titled Rev Run’s Renovation, which oversaw the renovation of their Saddle River, New Jersey home.
The new series will premiere on America’s Cooking Channel on 8 June (14).
