Former rapper Rev Run’s new comedy series has been axed after one season.
All About the Washingtons, which featured the Run-DMC star, real name Joseph Simmons, and his wife, Justine, wasn’t a hit on streaming service Netflix, and bosses have pulled the plug.
The series launched on 10 August (18) and was savaged by critics.
Rev Run had been working on the show since 2015 and at one point the programme was set to air on ABC, but studio heads passed on a pilot and Netflix bosses picked the series up, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
