The actor, who stars as the title character in the DC Comics film, separated his shoulder on the set in New Orleans, Louisiana on Monday (12Jul10), according to UsMagazine.com.
A source tells the website 33-year-old Reynolds, who is married to actress Scarlett Johansson, “is in lots of pain” and “he’s been keeping ice on it (the injury)”.
The actor’s spokesperson has yet to comment on the claims.

As WENN went to press, it was unclear whether the reported injury would delay the film, which is scheduled to open in June, 2011.
