Rich Homie Quan’s tour van broken into – report

Rapper Rich Homie Quan has called on police officials in Mississippi to help him track down stolen gear after his tour van was broken into over the weekend (24-25Jun17).
Thieves smashed a rear window while the hip-hop star was performing in Meridian on Sunday (25Jun17), and took $1,500 (£1,200) to $2,000 (£1,600) worth of electronics and jewellery.
Police are reportedly investigating the incident, but no suspects have been arrested, according to TMZ.
The reported break-in comes almost a month after Rich Homie Quan was charged with felony drug possession linked to an arrest in Georgia in May (17). The 27-year-old and his entourage were stopped at a police checkpoint on their way to Club Liquids in Wadley, and a subsequent search of their vehicle reportedly turned up a stash of marijuana and ecstasy, as well as a stolen firearm.
Rich Homie Quan, real name Dequantes Lamar, was taken into custody on suspicion of possession of a stolen gun and drugs and was hit with a felony possession of drugs with intent to distribute charge last month. If he is convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison.
