Singer Ricky Martin is giving fans an opportunity to enter a contest to write a 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil song, which he will record. The winning contestant’s song will not be the official track for the World Cup as previously reported, but will be included on a FIFA World Cup album to be released next summer (14).
The Livin’ La Vida Loca hitmaker says in a promotional video, “It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are, you have a chance to write a song for the next World Cup and I will record it.”
Sony’s Super Song contest will open in December (13).
