Robert De Niro to lead insults at Alec Baldwin roast

Robert De Niro, Caitlyn Jenner, and Debra Messing have signed on to insult Alec Baldwin at the actor’s upcoming Comedy Central Roast.
The trio will join comics Joel McHale, Chris Redd, and Jeff Ross on the dais for the TV special, which Messing’s Will & Grace co-star Sean Hayes will host.
“Getting roasted will be the greatest honour of my lifetime besides being a father, a husband, hosting SNL 17 times, receiving Golden Globes, Emmys, and working with Martin Scorsese,” Baldwin joked in June, when the roast was announced.
It will be filmed in Los Angeles on 7 September (19) and air a week later.
Baldwin is the latest in a long line of A-list roastees – Bruce Willis was the subject of last year’s (18) event, while Rob Lowe and Justin Bieber have also been the butt of the jokes.
