Robin Thicke to honour actress mum during Mother’s Day TV special

Robin Thicke will pay tribute to his mum as part of a U.S. Mother’s Day TV special.
The Blurred Lines singer has signed up to be part of Dear Mama: An Event to Honor Moms, which will also feature actor Anthony Anderson and TV personality and entrepreneur La La Anthony.
Thicke will pay tribute to his mother, Gloria Loring, who is best known for her role as Liz Chandler on U.S. soap series Days of Our Lives.
VH1’s second annual Mother’s Day special, which is executive produced by Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit, will air in America on 8 May (17).
Anthony’s appearance will be one of her first since deciding to end her marriage to basketball star Carmelo Anthony.
Reports suggest the couple, which wed in 2010, recently agreed to an amicable separation, with TV and radio host-turned-actress La La moving out of the family home they share in New York earlier this month (Apr17).
Meanwhile, Thicke’s appearance will be one of his first since the death of his father, Alan Thicke, in December (16).
