Rock Of Ages to close in London

The West End production of Rock Of Ages is to close after two years on the London stage. The rock musical, which became a 2012 film starring Tom Cruise, opened in the British capital in 2011, but producers have announced the curtain will come down on the show in November (13).
The production will close on 2 November (13) and then embark on a nationwide tour.
The London version received mediocre reviews upon opening, with many critics branding it too American for British audiences, while the Broadway show landed five Tony Award nominations following its launch in 2009.
