Rocker Chuck Mosley dies

Original Faith No More frontman Chuck Mosley has died, aged 57.
The rocker passed away on Thursday (09Nov17), after succumbing to “the disease of addiction” following a “long period of sobriety”, his family reveals in a statement.
They do not share the exact nature of his demise, but explain they wanted to tell fans the truth in a bid to help others battling similar issues.
“We’re sharing the manner in which he passed, in the hopes that it might serve as a warning or wake up call or beacon to anyone else struggling to fight for sobriety,” they state.
Mosley joined Faith No More in 1985, but his erratic behaviour on tour led to him being fired from the line-up in 1988.
He went on to front punk band Bad Brains for two years from 1990, and then set up a new group, called Cement.
The father-of-two also recorded music under the name V.U.A. (Vanduls Ugainst Alliteracy), before reuniting with his Faith No More pals in 2010 for a surprise performance in San Francisco, California. The singer also made an unexpected appearance at the band’s Detroit, Michigan gig last year (16).
