Looks like time is on Mike Myers‘ side. The “Austin Powers” actor is closed to joining Anne Heche and Helen Hunt in the $20 million comedy “Timepiece,” Daily Variety reports.

The flick is slated to start shooting in February.

K.O.’d: The Muhammad Ali biopic project rages on. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Jamie Foxx, whose last theatrical outing was the lukewarm comedy “Bait,” is in talks to star opposite Will Smith in “Ali.” Foxx is slated to play Drew “Bundini” Brown, a member of the heavyweight champ’s entourage.

‘BABY’ LOVE: The Reporter also says that “Mission: Impossible 2” co-star Ving Rhames might co-star with Tyrese in director John Singleton‘s “Baby Boy.” In the coming-of-age tale, Rhames will play the friend of a young man (Tyrese) who refuses to accept the responsibilities of fatherhood and adulthood.

MEETING OF THE BLONDES: Hmmm, “A Night at the Roxbury” for the ladies? Christina Applegate, formerly known as Kelly Bundy from Fox’s “Married…With Children” and the NBC sitcom “Jesse,” will co-star with Cameron Diaz in “The Sweetest Thing,” Variety says. The comedy follows a club-hopper (Diaz) and her best friend (Applegate) as they club-hop.
