Ronnie Barker’s son arrested after eight years

Adam Barker skipped bail in 2004 after he was arrested by police on suspicion of possessing 1,200 indecent images of children, but turned himself in to law enforcement officials in the U.K. on Tuesday (24Jul12).

He has since been charged with five counts of making indecent images of children and is due to appear in court in west London later on Tuesday.

Barker had roles in British TV dramas Casualty and Monarch of the Glen before his arrest.

His father Ronnie, who starred in acclaimed British sitcoms Porridge and Open All Hours and was one half of comedy duo The Two Ronnies, died in 2005 from heart failure at the age of 76.
