Roseanne Barr to fight Obama and Romney on election day in Florida

The actress-turned-reality TV star, who fronts the Peace and Freedom Party, has added her name to the shortlist of wannabe leaders fighting to be taken seriously on election day (06Nov12).

Barr will be up against incumbent President Barack Obama and his main rival, Republican Mitt Romney, as well as Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson, the former Republican governor of New Mexico, and leaders of the Socialist Party and Objectivist Party.

The Peace and Freedom Party candidate’s running mate is anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan.

Barr is calling for the legalisation of marijuana and same-sex marriage, among other things, in her manifesto.

The 59 year old announced her bid to run for the White House last year (11).

In a new video posted on her website, the funnywoman states, “We definitely do not have any serious choices in this election besides me.”
