Rosie O’Donnell Is ‘Certain’ Donald Trump Won’t Become U.S. President

Television personality Rosie O’Donnell is convinced there’s no chance Donald Trump will become President of the United States.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight during the premiere of Broadway musical Disaster on Tuesday (08Mar16), the comedian refused to acknowledge the businessman’s candidacy.

When asked by an ET reporter what she would do if Trump got into office she insisted, “He will never be president.”

Rosie, 53, and Trump, 69, are sworn enemies, having traded public insults for over a decade.

Last August (15) Trump tried to humiliate Rosie during his first party debate. After being quizzed on his record of making derogatory comments about women, including calling them “fat pigs and dogs,” he quipped, “Only Rosie O’Donnell”.

Rosie was quick to respond, posting on Twitter at the time: “Try explaining that 2 ur kids.”

The star has also been known to mock Trump during TV appearances, making fun of his hair and blunt manner in comedy skits, she once referred to him as a “snake-oil salesman”.

Trump, who said he “doesn’t have time for total political correctness,” explained after the live debate that he made the comment about Rosie because it “got tremendous applause.”

Rosie joins a growing band of U.S. celebrities to condemn Trump. Among the stars who are supporting the Stop Hate, Dump Trump campaign are Kerry Washington, Lily Tomlin, Connie Britton, Cynthia Nixon, Jane Fonda, Harry Belafonte, Thandie Newton, Dylan McDermott, and director Michael Moore.
