The A League of Their Own star and her wife Michelle Rounds are the proud parents of a baby girl named Dakota.
It is not clear if the tot was adopted or born via a surrogate, but O’Donnell announced the news in a post on her Twitter.com page on Wednesday (08Jan13) which reads, “we r thrilled to announce the arrival of r (our) daughter Dakota – #withloveandthanks – AMEN”.
O’Donnell also uploaded a photograph of the pair holding the tot. The star already has four kids with her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter – Parker, Vivienne, Chelsea and Blake.
The baby news comes on the back of a rough year for the couple – Rounds underwent surgery for desmoid tumours in June (12), while the comedienne suffered a heart attack in August (12).
They secretly wed after Rounds’ condition was diagnosed in June (12).
