Russell Crowe Could Face American Ban

Russell Crowe faces a possible ban from America for allegedly assaulting a
hotel concierge–even if his victim accepts his $5 million
one-off payment.

The New Zealand-born actor could be refused permission on entering the United
States again should he be convicted next month on an assault charge
following his alleged attack in June on New York hotel worker Nestor Estrada,
who claims the actor threw a phone handset at him.

District attorney Robert Morgenthau explains, “A security camera captured
what appears to be a felony assault on tape on June 6.

“Whatever financial arrangement Mr. Crowe comes to, if there’s evidence of a
crime we are likely to proceed.”

Meanwhile, 41-year-old Crowe has begun anger-management counselling on the
request of his wife, Danielle Spencer, in a bid to curb his notorious
outbursts.

A source comments, “Danielle believes it will help his case if the judge and
jury see he’s making an effort to reform.”
