Russell Tovey has called off his engagement to former rugby player Steve Brockman.
The Quantico actor announced he was engaged to marry the former Kings Cross Steelers player during an interview with the MailOnline in February (18), but he recently revealed they have gone their separate ways in a comment to a fan on Instagram.
Russell, best known for his roles in Being Human and The History Boys, shared a picture from a hotel gym, and a fan commented with the message: “@Russelltovey are you still with @Steve_The_Brockman?” and he replied, “No darling.”
Another asked if he was dating Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen, and he responded in the same way, writing, “No darling.”
The 36-year-old has also wiped all photos of himself with his former beau from social media.
Russell revealed he was engaged by telling MailOnline in February, “Completely unexpected but very very happy and looking forward to having a proper party to celebrate when back in London.”
Steve had reportedly moved to New York to live with Russell as he starred in Broadway play Angels in America and filmed U.S. show Quantico.
It is not known when the split took place, but Russell looked in good spirits as he attended the Serpentine Summer Party in London’s Kensington Gardens on Tuesday night (19Jun18).
